Good news! COVID-19 related restrictions have eased a little here in Wales and as of today, March 1st 2021, wedding and civil partnership ceremonies are allowed to take place at licensed venues. Whilst wedding receptions are still not allowed yet, it’s a step in the right direction.
“The number of people who can attend the ceremony depends on the size of the venue and its ability to allow people from different households to observe social distancing.”
It’s been a very tough year for couples wanting to get married and for anyone working in the wedding industry. Plans have been shifted, changed and rearranged many times for so many people!
Micro weddings and elopement have become popular and I think the whole situation has allowed us the opportunity to reflect on what’s really important to us on a wedding day.
As I’ve moved to the Llanberis area this year, in addition to providing custom quotes, I’ve adapted what I offer to allow for smaller weddings that require shorter coverage than traditional weddings.
